Bachelorette Goodies

These are my favorite!! For Trisha's bachelorette party, of course we needed festive favors. Instead of the typical pink and black for a bachelorette party and because Trish's favorite color is green, we decided to do a black and green theme... making the perfect combo for some cute favors!

Again, inspired by Auntie Jo.. do you see a theme?.... I made cute hershey nugget boxes. On the belly band on the outside, I cut out with the Wedding cricut cartridge cute lingerie - the theme of the night :)

The outside - added a little pink to the top :)

Here is the inside. Please pardon the bad stamp job, but I stamped this and then colored it with Copic markers.

Enjoy!

A Late Cricut Christmas

This happens to be a little bit past Christmas, but Auntie Jo had a great idea that I borrowed to give a little yuletide gift to my co-workers. Below you can see a great cutout from the Close To My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. I used the christmas Believe paper that is double sided to give the box a festive look on the inside and outside.

I then cut out a scalloped circle and some white snowflakes and glued them onto the top and bottom of peppermint patties -- ALL of these are cut out from the cricut! :)

Total Sorority Move

CONGRATULATIONS! To my beautiful, amazing sister for getting into a sorority at Baylor University. My sister pledged Zeta, and of course my mind runs to paper crafting!! The ZTA colors are turquoise, black, and white - a constant theme you will see below :)

In order to welcome Julia to Zeta I sent her a few goodies....and also made a few extra for her friends.

On the left in this picture below is (another) post it note holder. The right, is a pen holder - made out of cardstock and bounded together with ribbon. I made 2 sides solid turquoise, and the other two a turquoise pattern.

Below is my favorite - - personalized stationery for the newly-pledged ZTA herself. As you can see below, each reads "FROM THE DESK OF Julia Wyder, ZTA." Every other piece of stationery changes  font color from turquoise to black and so on.. If you are interested in seeing the template let me know!

Last, but not least... are the lotion box holders. Each holds a Bath and Body Works hand lotion or a foamy soap. Again, please let me know if you would like the template (courtesy of inspiration, Joanne Paul). Please note that in order to make the eyelet holes/insert eyelets to hold the ribbon you will need a Big Bite tool.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Best Friend's Wedding

This past new year's eve I had the blessing of watching one of my best friends marry the love of her life. Not only was I blessed to be a bridesmaid, I also had the privilege of making her thank you notes and bridesmaid gift boxes.

Below is the thank you note that the newlyweds sent out. The "I" stands for Iwema (new last name) and the rings on the bottom right are embossed with silver. The shape of the I is a cut out with the Cricut from Close to My Heart Art Philosophy cartridge.

Below are some pictures that show the boxes that held the bridesmaids' gifts (our jewelry). I custom made an explosion box for each bridesmaid that included pictures, a note from the bride to be, as well as some cute stamp quotes :) With an explosion box, there are two layers that open (explode) when the box is opened, so you can see below how the box opens when the top is removed as well as one stamp underneath one of the layers (picture 1).

Let me know if you would like the template and I would be happy to send the link -- or if you know of anyone who needs thank you cards done! :)

Hello friends, followers, and fellow scrappers!

I have decided to create my own blog after becoming an independent consultant with Close to My Heart in April! I love everything about paper crafting and am really excited to share my ideas and crafts with you.

I am presenting my work in an Autumn Art and Craft Fair this Saturday, so the next few posts will be samples of what will be shown.

Below are two sample post-it note holders - one for Halloween and the other more autumn in nature. Super easy to make and a great way to hold the ugly yellow post-it's at work or home :) I have revised the original template slightly to fit the post it's tighter - will post the template website soon.

Have a great week!
